While the subsequent proceedings, in which Bond had to masquerade as a Japanese man to infiltrate a Blofeld-initiated spaceship-snatching scheme designed to start a global war, are a bit on the racially insensitive and arguably overblown side, the movie’s a triumph of both action and gigantic set design, a really impressive spectacle.
