I've always liked the animations in which animals are the protagonists.I appreciate the high level of creativity, almost everytime we find new pets and friends, wild life and adventures.
And Ferdinand is such a good exemple of those things. The story is funny and has moments of pure heart and interesting and lively characters, especially the main protagonist.
Kate McKinnon was crazy!
Worthy Oscar contender.
Give face to all those sad creatures butchered at the hands of a matador in Spain but this is hardly a revolutionary movie otherwise. Competent animated and the usual fun slapstick make it perfect for the 6-year-old
This was hilarious, wholesome, profound, political. It tackled really important issues, emotional and social ones. The male character is matured, whole. It's 2 hours long and it's entertaining, without losing grip, on children or adults. I can't say enough good things about this. It's also beautifully animated.
