This is riotous fun without wanting to be too edgy or anything. It can be a bit of an acquired taste, but Jackie and Madeleine are just two great, complicated people to spend 80 minutes with.
There's just something about NZ comedy that vibes with me, and this film is no different - absolutely hilarious, female-led and female-directed comedy about two dysfunctional ladies.
A bit of an oddity, some moments were very funny, there did seem to be the odd misstep but there are a couple of musical moments that really cracked me up.
This is a fantastic buddy comedy. The comic timing and deadpan delivery by the entire cast is fantastic.
