One hundred superstar comedians tell the same very, very dirty, filthy joke–one shared privately by comics since Vaudeville.
2005 | Nominee: Best Non-Fiction Film
Much more than a documentary about a joke--it's actually an examination of why we laugh, and I believe transcends probably it's own ambitions over the course of its running time. It's genius, but will turn away those who can't take the joke.
bob sagat, holy crap!!
i dont get the joke...............
Bad. I recommend watching 5 minutes of the documentary, and Bob Sagat's version of the joke in the extras. Overlong, one-note.
really enjoyed this documentary. a interesting insight into taboo and the dark but funny side of the human psyche.
meh. Maybe a good 20 min documentary for TV but a film long version? um. no. Boring after a while I'm afraid.
