A couple of socially inept friends are facing separation anxiety as they prepare to go off to college. In one panic-driven night they make several misguided attempts to reverse a lifelong losing streak with the ladies. However the evening takes a turn into chaotic territory.

Our take

As influential as it is hilarious, Michael Cera and Jonah Hill’s struggle to get laid in the final days of high school will surely take its place alongside such American classics as Ferris Bueller and Ridgemont High. Greg Mottola’s geek-slacker vibe and the actors’ improvisations simply kill us.
