  • josé neves's rating of the film The Boy and the Wind

And I thought I had seen the wind being shot through Sjöström, Sirk, Ray and Joris Ivens cameras and that wild boys were already been revealed! It turns out that this film, a debtor of a typical Latin-america drama and representation, in its last half-hour reaches a cinematic expressiveness absolutely unusual and sweeping, which relativize its former classicism. "Cumbres borrascosas" by cinema's hallucination.
