  1. @viniladisko's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

  3. Carolina Pereira's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

Such a fun and lovely dynamic in this one. My favorite Woody Allen so far tbh. It's its innocence, its charm, its craziness. The nostalgia of the past yet to live, the memories yet to create and the future made present turned into boring. And ugh, now I wanna go to Paris so bad, please corona go away fast.

  7. Sybarite2015's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

Whimsical, funny, magical, sad...my favourite Woody Allen film. Whenever I'm feeling down this movie cheers me up. Paris has never looked so ethereally perfect.

  8. Alberto's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

stunning sets, funny, clever. beautiful sets and costumes, i believe they really captured the mood of each era. this movie gave me golden age syndrome. such an amazing speculation, i would love to actually be able to go back in time.

  9. Emirhan Durmuş's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

Woody Allen'in yaptığı bu başyapıt, insanların geçmişe olan hayranlığını mükemmel göndermeler ve düşünülmüş repliklerle anlatıyor. ''Nostalgia is denial, denial of the painful present.'' Geçmişteki temel kaygılar, çağlar geçtikçe değişmemiş sadece şekil değiştirmiş. Her nesil gelecek kuşağın bozduğunu söyler. John Shakespeare'in de William'a bizim zamanımız böyle değildi dediğini anımsar gibiyim.

  10. Beltrán's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

A magical, honest, yet very personal insight on purpose and meaning. One of my favourite films of all time.

  11. Tommy Fantini's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

3,5 - A journey in the past, the 1920s in Paris ... with its intellectuals. The reflection is that we never love our age! because we are not allowed to complete it as a whole!

  12. kinotopia's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

This is a fun but very shallow movie. Early on, the protagonist uses the phrase "psuedo-intellectual" which comes to define the entire film. Lots of name-dropping and indulging a man-child's dreams as he loathes his impending marriage to a "sexy" blonde he could care less about. This movie would be perfect for on-flight entertainment on a red-eye flight in the mid-2000s.

  13. serhatsari's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

It could be the masterpiece of Woody Allen. I think he peaked with this movie. Neverthless, the story is so personal. We are exposing to 'the Paris love of Woody Allen' throughout the film. Furthermore, it refers to the notions like time, present, moment, etc. Despite speculation about him, he is still a genius.

  16. dionysus67's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

Woody Allen's rescuing operation of tarnished actors succeeds in rendering a remarkably fluid Owen Wilson a vehicle for gentle and loving self-sarcasm which in the right hands turns into self-respect and bolstered self-esteem. Even if the midnight excursions to the Parisian past are unashamedly caricature-like, the contemporary deconstruction of intellectual show-off plus the city's saving grace, reward and redeem.

  18. Adinda Putri's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

    "Life is noisy and complicated."

  19. ceknklsn's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

  20. Shahriar Khan's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

As sweet and stellar as ‘Everyone Says I Love You’. Owen Wilson carries off well his ‘Woody’ impersonation (as all the male protagonists in films in which Woody doesn’t appear, seem to embody). Typical Woody-women as sirens, harpies, or saviours. The winning persona Rachel McAdams brings to every movie transcends the shallowness of her character until late. Some uneven scenes; overall witty and wondrous.

  21. anarresti's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

Took me years to get over the first quarter of the movie. There is a sleepiness, a candure, in the main charatcter that was enerving. Finally I watched all of it. It was worth it.

  22. zi's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

It blows me away with the sheer number of films Allen has made over the decades, that this late on he can produce one this good.

  23. JaredMercer's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

A return to form and the most celebrated Woody Allen film of the past 20 years. As usual, lots of fun and a great cast!

  24. David Fornari's rating of the film Midnight in Paris

A dream come alive if you've got some impossible heart-pull for the Paris described by E.A.H. in A Moveable Feast. Scripted grandly and gen. well-interpreted, w/ surprising amount of presence&love from the players of olden Paris's transient artists. Tough watching Gil get shouted out for resurrecting Faulkner, claiming that past is present... but some rejection's the price for choosing a clearer life lived honestly.
