I love stumbling across these little 90s indie gems. Nothing spectacular but cute, a bit grungy, and fun to watch on a quiet rainy day! Plus I’m a sucker for any kinda road trip movie. Add a coming of age dimension to it and I’m definitely sold.
It was a pleasure to see this little film, and the fact that I get to see a very young Scarlett Johanson with her impressive acting chops, blows me away. It is simple, low budget, and very indie, with very few characters. It makes this a very intimate story. Though I was not impressed by how it was written, and it could have enjoyed a better script, but it's a fairly nice movie especially for the ladies.
