Now that Donnie Yen has mostly begun focusing on his Hollywood career, and his Hong Kong output as of late has proved inconsistent at best, Max Zhang seems to have positioned himself as the next great martial arts hero. You know what: I'm a believer. You could argue the choreography here is a little too reliant on wirework at times, but fight for fight, Master Yuen Woo-ping's latest is an abundance of action riches.
Entertaining entry in the 'Ip man' franchise that tells the story of Jin Zhang's character after the events of 'Ip Man 3'. Jin Zhang gives a good turn here as his character is drawn back into the martial arts world as he battles gangsters, the drug trade and corruption (nothing new plot wise). The difference here is engaging supporting players especially Michelle Yeoh and a very physical Dave Bautista.
