What this movie needed less of: Dracula, parenthood cliches, characters being introduced 80% through the movie, "old people can't use phones," the insidious sexism of Adam Sandler movies, Dracula, nagging mother stereotypes, women with motivations related solely to child-bearing or the men around them, overvaluation of the male firstborn son, and, of course, humans dressing up as monsters (again).
Extremely disappointing as I found the first one mildly funny. It made me laugh out loud once or twice, but the second act was painfully boring and the ending destroyed the whole message of the film. Good luck sitting through this one, kids.
I had high hopes for this as the first film was quite funny and entertaining, unfortunately this was the worst disney-esque sexist shit I've seen in some time. I'm appalled that the writers could not come up with a better plot than marriage and a redhead baby for Dracula's daughter. I cry for the budding women of tomorrow if this is what they are being taught to aspire to!!
