Beautiful, interesting, incredible cinema.
An alluringly low-key and enigmatic portrayal of the alienation, disillusionment and loss of direction that have become widespread among young people in contemporary China.

Wonderful debut, and definitely a name to look out for. Very interesting thematically, formally, and in style. That closing scene may well be one of the finest in existential emptiness... and one of my favourite scenes in narrative cinema.
I loved the film. It drew me in from the beginning. Aesthetic choices were brilliant. Mao Mao is a director to look out for in future! More about the film on my blog: http://iurl.no/546r9
The Anti-Wong Kar-Wai.
Denuncia social de la situación actual de la juventud en China. Me ha gustado mucho.
