What are people saying?

  • Nicholas Gregory's rating of the film Dream Slayer

Despite having story development and character relationships/conflicts, the drama feels syrupy, akin to teenager-melodrama, and the slasher scenes are all silly. However, the confrontation between the psycho and the heroine's dad is startling and the last 20-odd minutes has a good energy, even if it too is cheesy. Wish the first hour balanced this energy and silliness well, instead of just being eye-rolling.
