Snobby school boy goes left, and mistakes the “Filthy Whore” for his millionaire dad’s yacht. He joins four filthy fishermen for hijinx on the high seas.

3 1/2 out of 5 stars. Between a slew of great cameos (Letterman had me howling), the odd sets at sea, the hallucinations, cast and most magnificent stupidity I ever bore witness to, I'm kind of kicking myself for not seeing Cabin Boy sooner. While it wasn't Get a Life, it was one hell of a consolation prize. If the words "fancy boy" don't make you giggle even in the slightest you should save yourself the time.
For a little more than the first half of the movie the idea is a lot better than the execution, but in the second half the quality of the jokes starts to catch up.
I love Chris Elliot, but this movie was unspeakably unfunny on almost every level. How did it get released in such sorry shape? Shouldn't there have been some re-filming or editing?
