Great show. One of the best comedy drama's I've seen. One those rare shows which one minute you feel sadness and the next second laughter - a nice blend of comedy drama and a lot lighter than shows like Baskets, etc - straddles the line between cheese but never really crosses it. Excited for series 2.
The show has a very clear vision and goal, with a tight script when it comes to building a deeper understanding of autism, and nicely developed characters; however, some situations are a bit heavy handed and come off as forced, soap opera style. It gets better over the course of the season. Keir Gilchrist was quite effective, but Brigette Lundy-Paine was the standout, she is just inherently likable.
