I don’t know but I just saw “Repulsion” last night and absolutely loved it! I would love nothing more than for Criterion to release “Rosemary’s Baby”, “The Tenant” or “Cul-de-sac”. More Polanski!
It’s great. I can’t think of any other theater-going experience in which the entire audience was so much under the control of a director’s rhythm as the first screening of REPULSION I attended. I was there for a double-feature, but too drained to stick around…
