There has been some really good one’s since my last post, Josh yours are consistently looking good.
Her’s one for some laughs

3 Versions of Revenge and still didn’t get a great one

Benedict, you are a saint.

Ok, here are my challenge entries. I went a little overboard (as is my wont). I think there’s ten of them. And MUCH thanks to whomever suggested someone make a Fitzcarraldo cover for this challenge, as it forced me to watch that fantastic film!

And that’s IT! That was a fun challenge. Thanks to Jason Callen for the concept!
All ten are brilliant…both in style and gumption! I forgot about The Mosquito Coast (one of my favorite books…and I like the movie too)
I don’t know about brilliant (I totally left the title off of one of them), but thanks!
I thought that was intentional…speaks for itself…
…*cough*THEbridgeONtheriverkwai*cough*…
Josh: I did a thin red line cover too, except my thin red line was more like The chunky red line. The composition of your covers is great.
Ack! Thanks, Marq. Yet another glorious example of my incessant ineptitude.
I also thought The Creature From the Black Lagoon with no title was intentional. It’s such a stark and perfect image that it seemed like a title would be distracting.
I just did this cover couldn’t wait till next week to show it.
Josh: Your The Ruins cover is awesome.

Once again Josh, you rocked the challenge. It was my pleasure coming up with it, and I’ve got plenty more if needed. I had about a dozen others for this week I wanted to do but just didn’t have the time. So you’d never seen Fitzcarraldo? I wish I could see it for the first time again. Isn’t it great? I would highly recommend seeing all of Herzog’s work if you’re not familiar with him. He is probably me favorite living director.
Love the new blood lately, Chris those covers for Revenge are better then the actual movie!
Here are my attempts for this week. I think I need to step it up in the future. Competition’s gettin’ tough out there.

Better late than never . . .

I really like all the challenge entries!
KJETIL: Good Thin Red Line. I dig it.
Alex, that Aguirre is beautiful
Thanks, Jaspar. Man, you keep coming up with films that I’ve never even heard of. I’ve got some serious viewing to do in the near future.

I know! Jaspar, I’ve seen maybe 10% of the films you post about. I’ll never catch up!
Saw the trailer for this film and it inspired me to make this cover.

The Fritz Lang is a real treat…EG Robinson gets involved with Joan Bennett (who I always thought was a real innocent…per Father of the Bride, but is a real fox in this one) and of course, it leads to no good…
I love the colors in that shot. Good cover.
Saint Benedict
i wish that were completely mine.
